ADMISSION NOTICE

Application on prescribed form are invited for admission to Masters and Ph.D degree programmes for free and payment seats in the following departments / subjects of specialization under faculty of Agriculture, of this Vishwa Vidyalaya for the Academic Session 2010-11.

Faculty of Agriculture:

(A) M.Sc. (Ag.) :1.Agronomy 2.Agril. Economics & F.M. 3.Entomology 4. Extension Education 5.Horticulture 6.Genetics & Plant Breeding 7.Plant Pathology 8.Soil Science & Agril. Chemistry.

(B) M.Sc. (Hort.) :1. Fruit Science 2. Floriculture & Land Scaping 3. Medicinal & Aromatic Plants 4.Plantation & Spice Crops 5.Post Harvest Management 6. Vegetable Science.

Ph.D (Agriculture) :1.Agronomy 2.Genetics & Plant Breeding 3.Soil Science & Agril. Chemistry 4. Horticulture 5. Entomology 6. Agricultural Economics & Farm Management

NOTE: Candidates will be selected for admission on merit basis. Preference will be given to RVSKVV, graduates for admission to the above PG/Ph.D degree programme.

Application forms and Brief Information for students seeking admission containing all details including fees structure, etc. can be downloaded from the RVSKVV, Gwalior website ..\..\PGprogramme.html with the condition to pay Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) in the shape of Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft in favour of “RVSKVV” payable at Gwalior along with the application form.

Admission forms duly filled in all respect should be submitted by the candidate to the Director Instruction, RVSKVV, Gwalior on or before 12/07/2010 up to 5.00 pm. A self addressed 10x22 cm. envelope duly affixed with postal stamp of Rs. 05/- should be along with the application form for the purpose of correspondence. The University will not be responsible for any postal delay. Students appearing in qualifying examination may also apply, but they will have to submit the Provisional Degree Certificate/Notification issued by the Registrar at least 7 days before the date of counseling. Intimation for the dates for counseling can be had from the website and updated information about counseling programme will also be available on RVSKVV website www.rvskvv.nic.in. Application submitted without the requisite fees will be rejected.
